MY RESEARCH

My thesis research investigated the effect that the addition of lateral skin stretch applied at the fingertip has on the perception of friction. The project description and publications can be seen here (coming soon).

ABOUT ME

I completed my undergraduate work at BYU. I was on the Mini-Baja team for my Senior Design project. I am married and have 1 little girl. I am planning on getting my M.S. in mechanical engineering and specializing in Controls and Dynamics.

INTERESTS

I live for snow skiing in the winter although since I’ve been in school I haven’t got to go as much as I’d like. My two top choices for a career were Mechanical Engineer or ski bum. I love to do pretty much anything outdoors like hiking, backpacking, fishing, hunting, and camping. I love to play street hockey and just learned to play ice hockey.
