This lab is directed by Professor William Provancher.
The main research interests for the lab include:
- Haptics, Tactile Sensing and Feedback.
- Climbing Robots focusing on efficient dynamic climbing and biologically inspired foot designs with embedded sensing and actuation.
- Meso-scale manufacturing and embedded mechatronics (SmartMaterials) using manufacturing techniques such as LIGA, SDM (Shape Deposition Manufacturing), or other layered manufacturing.
